Women in Public Finance has recognized three industry professionals as a part of it's annual Founder's Awards:
- Patricia A. Garrison-Corbin, founder of the Philadelphia-based financial advisory firm PG Corbin & Co. will be awarded posthumously the Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Katie Carroll, Deputy Treasurer of the State of of California, will be awarded the "She's Our Hero" Award.
- Melanie A.J. Shaker, Midwest Director for the tax supported group in public finance at Fitch, will receive the Rising Star Award.

Women in Public Finance gather every year to honor achievements by exceptional women in the public finance industry. The Women in Public Finance Awards presented at this Founders’ Event include the Lifetime Achievement Award, the She’s Our Hero Award and the Rising Star Award. Award recipients are nominated from colleagues across the industry and selected by an award committee of the Founders and past recipients. |
